That every word that spilled upon the screen took on a life of its own and brought with it reason... a reason for no other than to build something more than you are? Have you ever written something that was more than you could possibly ever be... something that was beyond even your wildest dreams to attain? Have you lived... a life within a single sentence... have you bled though your paragraphs and lived and died within the body of your writing?

Has your art captured that particular emotion that you so wanted to share, that you wanted to bleed through so that the world could see your joy, your pain, your triumph? Have you been able to allow others to see the pictures that were, once, only within your mind?

Can you stretch your imagination to boundaries not yet dared?

Then welcome home, my friend. We've been waiting for you to arrive. Did you bring the things that were asked of you? You look as if you don't understand what I mean... I see you hold the list in your hand as we speak. Why don't you look at that now. It's a simple matter of bringing the paper before your eyes, and before you know it, the words appear, as if by magic. A simple list, really. Made by a simple mind in search of grand adventure, I think. Why... All I was asked to bring was a positive attitude and a bit of time. Ah yes, time. A most valuable resource. One taken for granted so often, but I seem to have somehow managed to twist its grasp, allowing me to speak with you here, today.

Yes, I know the paper is rather worn and frayed, but it was all that we could find at the time. Not all of us are so "well-to-do", you know. Can I show you around the place? Well... assuming you have the time, of course.

In the recently submitted deviations will soon be a wealth of opportunity to explore, I think. It shall be the treasure that we seek here, this day! As I know the talent of the people that will come to an out of the way place such as the one in which we stand. Oh yes, indeed I do, for their words echo within my mind, their pictures sometimes haunt my dreams. Their talent exceeds that of normal human standards!!

Heh heh. Yes, I suppose it could be a small bias on my part, as I've gotten to know quite a few people here, and I like them. I can only hope they will come to visit, and chose to stay, for I enjoy their company. Very much.

I think, soon, in the favorites we will find the subjects of our writing and expression, and from there we can branch to realms yet unexplored. Oh yes, a grand adventure indeed! I can hardly wait! But let's not get ahead of ourselves! I think it would be a good thing to start at the beginning before jumping to the middle... And work from the middle without ever getting to the end.

Writers, Artists, Poets, Dreamers, and fantasy lovers of all ages, shapes and colors would find, within this realm, a place that fits their perfect need, an outlet for the fantasy that builds within their talented minds. Oh, if you could only see the dreams and visions. But alas... we shall have to work our way to the middle, and I am afraid, in this case, I can not do that by myself. I need your talent. Why, yes, you! Who did you think I was referring to? The monkey on your shoulder? Oh, don't mind him, he won't bite... much.

The first thing you need to do... -whispers- Is add the club to your dev-watch! -looks around cautiously- And maybe tell a friend or two. By all means, advertise in your siggy, or in your journal. Actually. Please do... I think it may help. Then maybe even send a note, (if you're feeling spunky) and I'll add ya on the member list. VERY simple! Did you do it?

See? Now that wasn't that hard now, was it? Don't you feel better? More alive? Heh. Well, we can't get EVERYTHING all at once, though, can we?

Now suggestions and comments would be quite helpful, and they will earn you points! What do you mean? You don't know about the point system? Oh my. Well then you will definately have to read into the ~Randomness and FAQ's~ Dev! I havent quite worked all the bugs out yet, and I'm quite open for suggestions on the distribution of points and what you can earn with them, so feel free to help me out with that. (Because I seem to be going a little more braindead as the clock nears early a.m. hours, but I wanted to have this up tonight.)

I think the first deviation for everyone can be open. Whatever realm/genre/character you want to use. You have something previously written/drawn/sketched/manipulated? ... no problem. Note me with the link. I'll post it! So easy! See? We are half way there already!

UPDATE! (02-02-06)

Hey guys! Wow, growing already and we just got here, it seems. I made a little something, just in the beginning stages of messing with it, of course. But I thought I would share all the same, so you can see where I'm going with it. I put about an hour or so work into the thing so far, but I have a lot of ideas... just very little time. ANYWAY, though!! Go check it out and let me know what you think!
